Evolved from a doodle I drew at a meeting of a guy on a bike playing chicken with a building. Ink and Charcoal.
latest updates: charcoal
We all have a violent streak flowing in our veins, not unless one of us have literally lived a fairytale life, but then again living a fairytale life is so buggers that one would prolly go on a killing spree or sumthin.
Charcoal sketch on scratch paper. Moleskines to arrive next week, I can’t wait to get started!
Self Portrait entitled, “Good Hair Day”
I had no more real materials left but an A4 paper, a Mongol #2 pencil, a rustic dusty charcoal pencil and the usual- my fingers for the smudge effect!
I was so happy with my hair this day that instead of the usual- take a photo I went for the ol’ sketch myself, haha.
Benson is a friends dog I take care of we my friend goes to Hawaii for a week. What a trade off. His a bowl of fun though, and smart. I nick name him fuzzy bear, muncher, trouble maker sometimes, but he really isn’t. I call him Blue Berry Muncher now, he likes blue berries now.
I did this in my Global Art sketchbook its just like a Moleskine except the paper can except light washes of watercolor, its in a landscape format and has a lot of pages. Its really nice for sketching in willow/vine charcoal, and has a nice tooth for it.
My sleeping kitty, Kya. I’m hooked on cats a bit right now. This was day 141 of the 365 Days of Art.
You can see the other work on my blog: http://pencilshavings.typepad.com/pencil_shavings/2009/12/365-days-of-art-day-141-nap-attack.html
