Guilty pleasure. One of our Saturday’s breakfasts, iced coffee and bagels, brought up in almost pajamas from favorite local place, early morning and almost Mediterranean light. Light, playing huge part in orchestrating the whole morning adventure of eating outside, above the ocean. Ink and Kuretake.

2013Jan 9tags: Bentley | brooklyn | car | ink | KuretakeThis Bentley, I believe from 1984-1990, called “Bentley mulsanne turbo R”, was damaged by the ocean, during the hurricane Sandy. It was standing on our block for a longest time, elegant corpse with winged “B” on its front. Ink and Kuretake.

Was almost Hitchcock’y to be in the middle, but gave me an inspiration for this drawing. Ink and Kuretake on Bockingford paper.

2012Nov 27tags: brooklyn | ink | Ira | Kuretake | sandy | streetThis is Brooklyn street, the way I saw it one evening, when I went to walk my little dog, empty, dark, abandoned, sliced by headlights of cars occasionally passing by, with glistening mud and broken glass under my feet. It use to be full of life and lit up in the evening, with dogs barking and people chatting on the porches. It was flooded by hurricane Sandy. Ink and Kuretake on Fabriano Artistico.
