  The House Sparrow. The right page was drawn from a study skin. The left page was drawn from observation (the one where he is sitting of course) and from photograph (the one where he is flying). The left page is obviously pen, the right is older and is in pencil. Also, my handwriting is atrocious, so sorry about that.

  Anyway, I hope you enjoy it! I have a few more of these skin studies I might post later.

  It’s my first painting after 6 years. Saw this image in a Malaysian Nature Society newsletter and i fell in love with the bird’s colour. Used Faber Castell watercolour.
