first page in a sketchbook project for arthouse in atlanta georgia. i need to have it finished and sent there before the 1st of dec. the gentleman on this page is a homeless man who lives in spokane, he is around 6′ 6” and has strong eyes. i have helped out before when i see him on my walks. today i decided to draw him. i noticed a pouch tied in his hair on the back of his head… wonder what it is? so the theme for my book is “friends of friends of friends”, so i figured since i don’t have too many close friends around here to feed off from (draw their friends friends?) i will draw folks i see about town (and when i travel) who are interesting to me, i’m sure at one time they were a friend of a friend of…
