tried out the new pencil, drank wine, talked with a friend and a zip later the world turned to its opposite. just if someone pressed “command i”.
the old houses in the city centre of hamburg are still occupied by a group of brave artists. after 5 or more years of rotting and declining now life came back in these walls. but there is still the owner who wants to break all buildings down to build offices made of glass and steel. good bye culture!
From my travel diary of summer 2009. Here I visited serbian orthodox monasteries in Croatia. Text and sketches are very spontan and it’s all made with pilot V-Ball 0.5 on a moleskine cahier/journal plain.

one of a dozen occupied old houses in the city centre of hamburg. having a big party with art and music everywhere 200 artists try to reclaim these buildings for culture and living. (it’s planned to break them down to build boring office buildings.)
