Jungle Twilight
More lines and patterns yielding interesting shapes and contrasts.
River of Dreams
The third page in my ‘Uncharted Waters’ sketchbook. A compilation of eyes and eddies of blue.
Uncharted Stars
I’m taking part in the Sketchbook Project World Tour 2012 and this is my first work in my sketchbook (inside the back cover, as working back-to-front is a habit I picked up a while ago). My theme this year is ‘Uncharted Waters.’ This is done with dark blue acrylic paint and silver sharpie marker.
Eye in the Sky
An abstract page inspired by the patterns and shapes formed by roadways and rivers viewed from an airplane window.
What We Do! Inks, tape & fabric paint, inspired by a trip to The American Folk Art Museum in Manhattan, which had an exhibit featuring Eugene Von Bruenchenhein.
Mint
Orbit gum currently comes in the most intriguing package with all manner of pleasing shapes and shades of green. Whenever I finish a pack, I find myself playing around with the cardboard, trying to do something artistic and interesting with it; I finally got something I liked well enough to glue into my molie.
Tree of Life
I was just messing around with my different shades of brown micron pen the other night and this page is the result.
Paper Patterns
I ordered two new moleskine pocket sketchbooks directly from the company’s website and they arrived wrapped neatly in brown paper with this sticker keeping the package closed. I liked it, so I used it as the focal point for a simple patterned page.
