During my trip to Mexico, I got very inspired by the Dia de los Muertos (Day of the Dead) art I saw. I drew this in the resort lobby on a rainy afternoon. I thought it would be funny to do a hotrod bandito. I may have to turn this into a finished piece at some point in time. The guys working at the resort seemed to like it and said it was “¡Mas Macho!”.
I found out an interesting photo with some old fashion and ornaments one day when I was reading a magazine. So I pick up the moleskine and make a quick sketch~
North Face of Ben Nevis – The highest mountain in the British Isles (4406 ft). Acrylic paint and ink on a watercolour Moleskine.
Ben Nevis, part of the Grampian Mountain Range, is situated near Fort William in the Lochaber area of Scotland. Although it is possible to “walk” to the summit (carefully) the North face is for steely nerved, experienced climbers only.
During my trip to Mexico, I got very inspired by the Dia de los Muertos (Day of the Dead) art I saw. I drew this in the resort lobby on a rainy afternoon. I ended up using these in a design I painted on a bowl on another rainy day.
FYI- Dia de los Muertos is on November 2nd this year.
FYI (numero dos)- September- November is the rainy season in the Yucatan Peninsula. Wish I had known that before booking my trip.
Another sketch of Jordan Pendley doing what he does best at Bread and Bagel.

A grey day. (Which partially was spent on a balcony in Berlin with ballpoint pencil & large moleskin.)
I tried to wrap the shading scale around the drop of rain water and the reflections on the wet railing, emphasizing them by making the rest as dark as it would take.
