Cofee and Beer with my in-laws
ballpen (black and blue) on a small NB. This one was inspired by another fellow who posted coloured pencilwork of a beear in the centre (of Malmo) – So I did it in the centre…
Please note thet the drawing (again) i highly technical, so if anyone needs additional explanations please don’t hesitate…

When the cup is full one has no time to draw it. Only when it’s empty one can concentrate on it. The spoon was a horribly looking plastic crap, but as Plato said “I like Socrates, but I like the truth better!” – So, I had to inlude it in the drawing for the sake of truth…

2009Sep 16tags: Dalmatia | seaside | village | watercolourRemnants of the old village of Podaca near Gradac
In the old days Dalmatians used to live in the hills and only had some storage houses for fishing purposes near the coast. In such a way they could run away in case of a pirat attack, and also be able to spot it on time. Hundreds of such ruined vilages are scattered along Dalmatian coast.

2009Sep 14tags: chat | darkness | ladies | old houses | watercolourHouse built in 1776.
We wisited out former seaside landlady (leftmost) and my Mother-in-law (centre) and wife (right) had a long chat with her while I was painting.
The trouble was that there were almost no light when I did it. It reminds me of a Python’s sketch where a father-in-law (sleaping in the bedroom with his daughter and son-in-law) is, for 20-odd years, making a ship model in the dark, which of course additionally anoyes the couple. When they finally switch the light on – his model is actually a wrack. Therefore, do not be harsh on judging the outcome of my little darkness effort!
BTW. The roof of this houre has been risen some time during the last century

I have to add that I wasn’t happy how this particular notebook accepts watercolours, and I’m not happy with how it deals with colour pencils either. What is it for? Guache/Tempera, Ink, Pencil? Help me, I’m getting confused, and planning to give it up…
