The story tells about adventures of Hodja Nasreddin Afandi who is believed to be a wise folk man from mid-age Central Asia. He is well known for his humor, derisive treatment to regents, and his help poor people, as he was himself. In this episode Hodja saves a family of Niyaz the potter from getting in bondage to old greedy Jaffar.
