Jaffar the Moneylender from old movie “Nasreddin in Bukhara” that was filmed at the Tashkent studio in 1943. The story tells about adventures of Hodja Nasreddin Afandi who is believed to be a wise folk man from mid-age Central Asia. He is well known for his humor, derisive treatment to regents, and his help poor people, as he was himself. In this episode Hodja saves a family of Niyaz the potter from getting in bondage to old greedy Jaffar.
