It was too dark and awkward to do any decent sketching down there so I took some handy snaps on my digital camera and did a quick watercolour at a cafe when I got back above ground.

This is a watercolour I did from a cafe. I had a smallish brush so it was tough to get a nice was for the sky.

2009Dec 15tags: www.slevinarts.comIn the aftermath of the Thierry Henry hand ball fiasco there was an interesting list printed in the newspaper regarding famous cheats of history – I decided to cut it up with a couple of the accompanying photos and paste it into my Moleskin. I added a quick pen drawing of Henry and some French shading in coloured pencil with appropriate title.
