Testing the new set of watercolors I got for Christmas.
Maybe a bit ambitious for my skill, but I enjoyed painting the shades and reflections.

I posted it some time ago, but got lost when the web changed (sorry for the late reposting).
I tried with watercolors and ink liner. Not entirely satisfied, but that’s what I got.

Some house I spotted this week @ Barcelona. It was so serious and classy, so I wondered how it would look in a comic-like style.

If anybody wants to know, the words for “sea horse” in catalan are “cavallet de mar” (little sea horse).

The first pages of my first Moleskine, back in 2006. I didn’t want to get a horrible drawing for the 1st page, so I used an ordinary white paper and pencil and stuck it to the Moleskine. Some pencil and black marker for the rest and that’s all. “Pop” is the catalan word for “octopus”.

“Ós polar” are the catalan words for “polar bear”. Doing some tests with tempera few years ago, I was just trying with colours to get a good sky/snow/ice contrast… the bear just appeared from nowhere
