Gonna post more while the posting is good. Here is Mount Lassen with a lot of snow on it. The last time it blew was in the early 1900 and it is still active, with interesting boiling mud pots and steam vents all around.
I often use markers because they cover a lot of paper with color quickly, especially for field sketches.
This was painted in May, a crabapple tree in bloom. The scan is a bit fuzzy, but it’s the best we could do.
