This is my personal interpretation of the ancient African water goddess Mami Wata. Done with a .03pt mechanical pencil on moleskine sketchbook paper.

This is a doodle that kind of just took on a life of its own. I did a little photoshoping to it by cropping out the stippling, which was done in my 3 x 5 moleskine, giving it a tiny bit of a drop shadow, changing the color of the back and adding some text.

Pens and Scissors – a composition of pens and a pair of scissors from the pen holder that sits on my desk at work. This was created with .005 colored micron pens and my moleskine sketchbook.

Babu – something a little different from my usual style of pure stippling.

Cherries – I ventured off and used color this time around after a six year absence. I boo-booed a bit on the water droplets on the right cherry by adding in some blue but I think I got the gist of it on the left.

Hearts – I know that Valentine’s Day has passed but I was listening to Hearts by Marty Balin and felt moved to do a stippling of hearts.

Balloons – a little something I did during my lunch break at work. I’ve noticed that circles or at least curvaceous forms are a recurring element in my drawings.
