Abstract Winter
A page done on a particularly cold night (although the weather has been ridiculously warm for the most part this year) with the wind gusting past outside.
Inquiring Owl
The owls have spread even into my Uncharted Waters sketchbook, this one in all sorts of nocturnal blues and with a questioning look on its face.
Owl Sketch
I’ve taken to drawing little cartoon owls lately when I find my mind wandering; I think the idea came from a nickname I gave my husband a while ago (between his facial hair, the knit hat he was wearing at the time, and the look of concentration on his face, he looked like an angry owl and I couldn’t help laughing at the likeness) and it’s just continued to inspire silliness as time goes on.
Bimorphic Machine
I have to admit, this month’s theme challenge (last month’s by the time this posts) was a bit difficult for me to wrap my mind around, so I just started with the idea of a machine and let my ink pen take me where it would.
December State of Mind
A page in my Uncharted Waters sketchbook inspired by the early days of December and ideas that swirl around this time of year for me.
Back Cover–Uncharted Waters
The back cover of my Uncharted Waters Sketchbook, done in silver sharpie marker.
