Pools of Daydream
An abstract page in swirls and pools of blue ink.
Flowers
I had a space of time where I was too busy to do much drawing or doodling, so one night I just played around with a few different colored pens and abstract flower shapes.
Cat Patterns
Another shape of patterns inspired by my younger cat who, whenever there is an umbrella open to dry insists on sitting underneath it and nowhere else, even napping there instead of on the couch or chairs.
On the other side of the looking glass
My submission for the February 2012 theme challenge (should post by the end of the month if all goes according to plan).
Bourbon
In mid-January I was able to visit a friend in Southern Kentucky after a conference and the drive home took me along the historic Bourbon Trail. I was able to visit three different distilleries (Bourbon is my spirit of choice), and take a tour of the Maker’s Mark operation. It was an incredibly pleasant trip with good friends for company.
