Just an abstract doodle with micron pen.
A page in micron pen, just thinking about the end of summer and the heat that still lingers.

Yellow String and Hydrangea Blossoms
(What’s In Your Pocket)
A collage of things from my pocket for the September 2012 Theme Challenge.
Saying Goodbye to Boo
A collage page in my ‘Chronicle’ sketchbook in memory of Boo, who died in her sleep at 16. She was a wonderful, wonderful cat and I will sincerely miss her and her gentle snuggles.
The Contents of a Trash Can (Same motif in different technique)
Another exploration of the August 2012 theme challenge, this time revisiting the November 2011 theme challenge. There’s a Scottish heather ale that I am very fond of that features interesting labels that have a tendency to flake off in large and small chunk when they get wet (which is easy to happen on some of the very humid summer nights here). I find the resulting bits of pattern and metallic layers interesting and decided to put them together on a randomly-assembled page.
Whispers of a Windy Day
An impression in black ink and metallic bits of paper inspired by a windy day.
Summer Impressions (Same motif in different technique)
Another entry for the August 2012 theme challenge, this time revisiting the April 2012 theme challenge.
Memories of Boo
A few sketches for a project in memory of my cat, Boo, who died in her sleep curled up in the sun about a week ago. She was sixteen and, while I’m glad she went peacefully, and I’ve known it was coming for a little while now, I still miss her.
