Grapes. I saw a similar painting online and immediately wanted to do my own version. I tried to find the original artist’s information to give him/her credit but I didn’t have any luck. Anyway this was great fun to paint and I’m pleased with the result. Watercolor in WC moleskine.

I haven’t posted anything in awhile because the end of the semester and finals took up all my time but now its summer and I’m free! Here’s one inspired by the Life nature documentary. Watercolor

My wedding cake from December 08. You’d never guess but it collapsed on the way to the reception and the whole back side was terribly smashed. They did a wonderful job strategically hiding it though, and it gave us a funny story to remember.
