Driving. I wanted to show mood, when all you see is couple of red lights you follow. It is road 87. And you dreaming that when you’ll come home you’ll have a glass of wine and put logs in the wood stove.
84 street in Brooklyn. I like to draw cars, houses, people to stop the moment and appreciate. Sepia ink (School-G pen) and pocket Moleskine.
The end of the line. Here is translation (with help of Translator-program) of the poem I wrote as a teen:
And by girl to run at the park,
Rolling the hoop between white statues,
To yet not know sullen Parcae,
Not to perceive itself with cursed.
I hope it understandable that its about faith, end, being blind to reality. And 3 statues kinda like Parcaes(roman) holding the tread of life.
More train sketches.
I used water soluble Swiss made charming pencil-stick and tint it in Photoshop.
Manhattan Beach in Brooklyn. I had to move the car, so wander around till found this quiet spot and timed myself to work faster, trying not to disturb lonely swimmer and happily text with my daughter.
This place is near New York Aquarium. The shape of train station kinda interesting with waves and long openings. I even planned to use it for interior decoration in a big office in Manhattan, like an installation, but it was out of budget, so stayed in dreamland.
Sketch of Inna. I used ArtPen Rotring, filled ink converter with J.Herbin ink. May be I should try to color it in Photoshop?
I had few minutes waiting for my husband in the car, so scribbled what was in front of me. Pocket Molly, School-G pen, Bijou box.
