This weeping willow tree was once huge and beautiful, but got struck by the thunder and all whats left was short split piece of trunk. But my husband refused to part with it, he wrapped it with wire, put feeding sticks in the ground and tree spread brunches and came back to life.

I was always fascinated by the boats, as a 9 year old wanted to run away to become a sailor. Didn’t happen, but love stayed. Sketch with Carbon fountain pen.

After dropping my daughter at the club, was stopped by bunch of boats and had to sketch it even being harassed by boatmen, circling on their trucks.

Its a view from the one of the side gates of Arboretum Upstate NY. I was fighting with Watercolor crayons and a bit of Inktense pencils, trying to figure out what I can do with them. And brush pen to outline, because fountain pen didn’t draw on top. Mainly it was pure fun to be alone in the car with Moleskine.
