I did this sketch in moleskine with ink, without preliminary pencil lines, freezing in a cold car, in double parking, in autumn shoes, for 15-20 minutes.

Trip to Albany. Ink and Kuretake.

Mountain road. View from the road side, Upstate New York. This rocks often glistening from ice or water, you can get lost in it’s angular shapes, I was very approximate. Ink and water brush.

Cup of coffee while waiting for the food in the Diner Upstate NY. Fat edged uncomfortable cups, weak coffee, but fun observing people, barely talking, just enjoying existence. Ink and Kuretake.

Moleskine for me not just for picturesque drawings but everyday companion for my lists, studies, thoughts, sketches, schedules, address book, doodles, shoulder I can cry on, etc.

Portrait. I played with 2 inks and few Kuretake pens, used white pen a little bit, wrote “be happy” in shaky half dissolved letters (I love puddles), and now I deserve breakfast.

“Scary night”. One of the backdrops I did for a play. Spend less then an hour, had fun with paint dripping instead of painting (unprimed). I painted and walked on it, huge piece.

Beetle. I won’t want to drive it, I like big cars, but have to admit, it is good looking. Sepia ink and couple of Kuretake pens.

I usually remember people I sketched, for a long time and hold myself from jumping at them with “Oh hi, we know each other.” if I meet them somewhere.
