Drawing in Venice. A “sottoportego” (passage), the lower in the city.
And a lonely cat.
Cats love Venice. Me too.

2009Apr 13tags: color pencils | easter | eostre | ostara | springEostre, Dawn and Spring Goddess.
She just came out of my head. It is her time of the year, now. She is the sensual and joyful spirit of this month. The world “easter” comes from her name, but she was the first.
And she was wishing that I draw her, so I did it. She is the way I celebrate springtime.
Happy ostara.
Happy easter.
Happy spring…

2009Mar 4tags: collage | coloured pencil | flowers | home journal | pomegranateMore pages in my home journal. Pomegranate tree flowers, last summer. At the left page, I glued a photo I made of my pomegranate tree. At the right, I draw some flowers. I wrote some verses of a Lorenna McKennitt song: “And in a corner stood a pomegranate tree, with wild flowers there no mortal eye could see”

2009Mar 2tags: flowers | home | journal | lavender | Pen | rain | windThis are two pages of my what I call my “home journal”. It’s all about home. About the place where I live, a white house in the country. In this journal I write, draw and collage about the changing seasons, about my house, my family, my pets, about the forest and the animals that live in it.
The first page is about a rainy day in summer and the way things smell after the rain. The other one is a drawing I made in a windy night (“Outside the wind blows” are the worlds under the lavender flowers)

2009Feb 17tags: caran d'ache | coloured pencil | foxglovesFoxgloves.
I would like to see a fox with pink gloves…
But they look more like hats for little people.
(I don’t like the greens in my drawing…)

2009Feb 15tags: broceliande | france | Merlin | pencilMerlin’s Tomb at Broceliande forest, the celtic France.
Yes, it is a real place. A magical place.
Merlin is sleeping under the stone and the thorn, and you can know it’s true when you visit the place…

2009Jan 5tags: child | kid | loli | pencil | portraitThis pretty spanish lady is Loli. She is one of the kids in my class. She is five years old, shiny, happy, mischievous, bright. She is the little sun in my classroom, even when she starts to sing or to laugh when I’m speaking, even when she hugs another kid so tight that it hurts, or when she wants to play and dance in the middle of a tale.
When Loli is sad, the classroom looks darker. And she doesn’t have many reasons to be happy, poor little girl. But she is…
