My lighter, a gift from my fiancé. I like how the shadow/highlight turn out in this one. Doodled in class, while I was suppose to be watching “The Passion of the Christ”

Usually, I sketch with graphite pencil, ink and then color. On these sketches I tried inking as the last stage of my painting. Both are painted with watercolor
Right one was done first (I’m a leftie :p) and inked with a sepia brush pen.
Left one (which I’m much fond of) was outilined with a black colored pencil. I’m trying to get that same effect with ink. No luck as of yet, but I’m hopeful.

Sleeping under the tree shade, with the whispering wind going through the branches as lullaby. A moment of peace.
