I drew this lily pond at a beautiful japanese garden in North Salem, NY. I took a small group of students to do nature journaling…they all did a wonderful job…enjoying the quiet of the garden and the cloudy cool morning.
This is a small shady garden dedicated to my son Graham. It is shaded by three huge sugar maples. A favorite place to sit on hot summer days….
It’s been raining and raining in NY. There was a moment to run out between the storms and draw these birds on the wire…… this pole is out on the road past the garden wall.
