This is the first in the watercolour skine, landscape, really pleased with the paper, see what every one talks about, going off now to blast some images out, really like the base to colour ratio, graphite 2B and windsor small set.

This is one of about 20 pages in my first book, its the bones of a piece of work on masks, i am going to produce masks globally and they will be either woodblock or lino cut and monoprint, i am to exhibit the piece in the new year, but for now one page of the studies, all of them art included on the flickr album.

Sat in the car (lightweight) its wet out there, this is Pentewan Harbour, a little harbour thats no longer working (the last time was ±1944), pen on moleskine about 45 minutes, i would like to do one from the water looking at this elevation.

A quickie sketch, sadly taken from my phone and produced in the comfort of my lounge, it was raining, and the kids wanted to go, happy with it tho.

this was painted for my grandmother when i was a teenager, i made up a range of tones to look sepia in style out of gouache and painted onto Moleskine paper, approx A4. My grandmothers since passed away and my mother found it in her flat and now it sits in the hall way in the house at the top of the sketch, the village is Ceriana, in the Ligurian foothills, Italy

This was done on my birthday on the beach just as its starting to rain, typical Cornwall, pen and water colour pencil, not used watercolour pencils since i was at college, thanks Imogen they are a great present.
