Trying some ink drawing, cross-hatching is not my forte.

This is an experiment to try and paint in watercolour in my plain Moleskine sketchbook. Yeah… I know there are watercolour sketchbooks (I have some) but I wanted to have it all. Anyway this was done in watercolour and ink in a plain sketchbook (8×5)

Portrait from the abstract. I used a PITT brush pen and stippled the portrait over the abstract watercolour background in a watercolour moleskine.
