I used watercolours to paint my flowers and added some collage.
My parents buy me Chrysanthemums when they visit me because they last so long!

Ginkgo Biloba.

I’ve been having repetitive dreams recently about dementia and losing my memory. Last night in my dream I couldn’t remember where I lived so didn’t know how to get home. Anyway, this reminded me how much I love the shape of ginkgo leaves. Maybe my dreams are telling me to take this as a supplement??

Hopefully I have the Chinese text correct.
Painted with watercolours. A couple of punched leaves glued on for added dimension.

This is not the same design I originally posted (I couldn’t bear to colour it!) Here’s another I did on the following page of a similar ilk. I chose coloured pencils in the end to colour rather than brush pens – the pencils gave a nice sheen. Used a Pilot pigment ink drawing pen (0.2) to draw.
