A quick sketch from my backyard. Building on the left is a 2-flat with a big front porch and a balcony. My house, on the right, is a brick bungalow and dates from the 1920s. Back porch needs paint, which I’ll have to do myself and I’m dreading it. Hard to believe I’ve lived here for 9 years. It’s a very urban setting with all manor of different types of people moving in and moving out. Life’s been good here. Watercolor was painted first then pen over.
