November Theme Challenge! The contents of a trashcan
This sketch was my reaction to another death at an expensive school in Auckland NZ. I suspect many wealthy parents throw money at education, wanting “results” and “good behaviour” without considering what education is really about let alone the child himself.

I started sketching my (hairy) leg and it felt free so I added memories of a summer holiday at Waimarama beach in Hawkes Bay.
This is a guy carefully making my coffee, unsure as to why I was drawing him.
I did this sitting at bus stop in Melbourne. There was this statue in a church yard, surrounded by a parking building and a construction site.
Waiting for another plane in Melbourne. People just waiting, bored, yet with a self-important “in-transit” attitude.
