Oh No! Its ‘flu jab time again – Ink and coloured pencils in a Watercolour Moleskine
A quick entry for this month’s challenge. Just back from the health centre for my ‘flu jab. Couldn’t understand why the place was full of miserable-looking people, after all, In Scotland, the jab is FREE! I know now! They must have known something I didn’t. I feel as if my arm is twice its normal size and to crown it all, the nurse says I have to return, in a month, for another jab to protect me against swine flu despite my protestations that I’ve been building up my immunity by eating lots of bacon sandwiches.

Ouch! The figure with the needle looks dangerous! Bacon does indeed cure what ails you. Great sketches, Bob.

Sort of the Reaper with a needle. I like it! And I’m highly interested in trying your bacon sandwich preventitive plan. I wonder if a chicken club sandwich would also keep away the bird flu?

Ah Susan! You sound as if you are addicted to bacon as well. Tastes wonderful with melted cheese on top and pickles as a garnish. (Stop Bob – time for a breakfast of cardboard flakes AGAIN).
12oz. Interesting idea about the chicken vs bird flu. About the time of avian ‘flu scares I decided to stop using a bird table as squirrels were being attracted and eating everything in sight – including all of our garden bulbs. The birds left and, you know, I never caught this tyoe of ‘flu (or even squirrel ‘flu). Thanks for the comment
