Thank you both. In the previous incarnation of this post there were 22 hearts in a day! And most of the comments went: “beautiful colours”. Well, I keep telling people to buy the most expensive watercolours they can find. With 1st class pigments and almost no filler they give any shade you like, they also do not spoil the brushes, and they last forever (with buckets and buckets of water)! The same goes for the brushes: buy known brand pure kolinsky (eastern Siberian) sable.
Although a hair-drier was heavily used in this patricular one… As I mentioned I drew the inspiration from Pascal, and having gotten his permission, I published it. It’s not a “Boulgakov”, but surely was influenced by him. BTW. where is he?
