Ink & green Inktense pencil. I started out drawing the 3 large heads on the left… then found a photo in Newsweek of the Iranian protestors and did all the smaller faces/arms. I really enjoyed this and learned so much. No pattern, no texture, no middle values made me choose carefully what to leave in and leave out in order to depict a unique, emotional face. Great exercise I recommend to anyone who likes drawing people.
