Perhaps the best thing that could happen to an artist is to have his (her) last work to be his (her) favourite! I’m glad for you. However you never gave us a lecture, so I had some 2 hours last evening and tried to emulate your style (not looking into your works, but just from the memory), which I think was wasn’t bad. If you don’t mind, I might just posti it here (but having loads of earlier stuff this would be in a month). Do you mind?
I must say that the closest effect I achieved by directing strong hairdrier’s warm current into small streams of tinted water, while moving the NB. If I did cover parts of the picture, while splattering drops from the brush, the effect would have been even closer. I wanted it still to be another Ziza rather than Boulgakow, but using your influence. My daughter (my most positive judge) liked it a lot – so I’m happy!
Thanks Ziza, no problem, you’re welcome, the best thing is to be happy with our own way of painting, no matter which influence that comes from.
My own goal is to produce paintings as the more abstracted as possible while keeping the original sensation of the model. I’m on the way and this latest one definitely help me to keep the motivation.

Thanks Marty, this one is my favourite ever. Especially the trees. I would like to keep this way of painting. Not sure to manage it everytime…

“Last” is not a good term. I do appologise. Read it “latest” or “most recent”!
