A mountain near my village, called “La Tête de l’Indien” which means The Indian’s Head. I admit that it really looks like a indian-chief’s head. Watercolors.
Here is the photo about the real mountain : http://boulgakow.blogspot.com/

Awesome watercolor, I like the trees.
I checked out your blog, cool brushes. Are they homemade.

Thanks Kirby, the hair come from a normal brush, I cut the head and paste it on another bamboo (or some wood else) stick. So that looks like homemade, but it isn’t… I would really love to be able to built my own brushes. I don’t understand how to do it. I tried, but it didn’t work properly.

Hah, I think an Indian Head in Europe is a bit of an oddity. We have one here in REAL Indian country, the Mountain Maidu tribe, who still live here and have their annual powows which are very colorful. We also have a mountain called Indian Head, but the Indian is on his back looking up at the sky. I have a small painting of it, but it isn’t in a Moly. Maybe I’ll go back and do one in a Moly and then we can compare.
