House built in 1776.
We wisited out former seaside landlady (leftmost) and my Mother-in-law (centre) and wife (right) had a long chat with her while I was painting.
The trouble was that there were almost no light when I did it. It reminds me of a Python’s sketch where a father-in-law (sleaping in the bedroom with his daughter and son-in-law) is, for 20-odd years, making a ship model in the dark, which of course additionally anoyes the couple. When they finally switch the light on – his model is actually a wrack. Therefore, do not be harsh on judging the outcome of my little darkness effort!
BTW. The roof of this houre has been risen some time during the last century

This is a little jewel Ziza! When I was in Italy on an art workshop we were required to paint at 10pm so that we could not see the colors we were choosing or how our work was coming along. To my great surprise I ended up loving my little piece from that night and keep it to this day.

I agree. This is a little jewel of a painting, and I particularly like the way you painted the stones of the house. Also the contrast of the ladies and the colorful umbrella with the stone. It’s lovely!

Thank You ladies! I must say I wasn’t too happy of how it turned to be, but it was OK under the circumstances. My wife was complaining that her hairstile was not shown correctly and why her right hand fell out of the frame… Anyway she isn’t impressed with my artistic acievements at all. But my daughter is! And that counts I guess. She energetically defended my artistic licence on this piece, and others as well…
