Done with markers as an experiment. Since the colors of my markers are very garish I was trying to get skin tones. Anyhow, that’s me—a used-to-be blonde who is now mostly gray and loving it, but I left out some of my wrinkles which is artistic license, right?

Agree with above comments. Don’t worry about wrinkles. At my age I wouldn’t see any perceived ones anyway.

Wonderful portrait, and your skin tones are lovely. Did you use Pantone markers?

Susan, no I used the Dick Blick brand. I bought a whole set recently and am still experimenting with them. They do bleed through the paper, even heavier paper, and one has to use the colors very carefully as they often are much darker than the exterior barrel shows. So I test them before use, and even then I tend to mess up because colors in relationship to each other look totally different than when tested on white paper.
Thanks for the comments everyone. I do agree that at this age what you don’t see is just fine with me, and when I don’t have my contact lenses in I can’t see the wrinkles. Hahahahah!
