Heres a scene downtown in Alvin. This creek runs through it and can get pretty full. There was a storm brewing in the background and I had just enough time to paint this before it rained. Some kid below was walking around so I put him in, he was wearing a bandanna and looked like a pirate. Maybe it was a pirate ghost of Jean Lafitte. Lafitte is famous around here. There was a shipwreck of his in Matagorda Bay that was dug up not too long ago.
