I have a book of roman portraits that i referenced. They are b/w photos of roman sculpture busts, so I flipped thru it enjoying the photos. I use a set of gouache that was given to me from Japan – it is a box of 18 Turner Acryl Gouache. Recently I ran out of a few colors, so I bought Holbein Acryla Gouache to replace those, and I love their consistency (and great prices). I don’t use different brushes, just the same ones I use for oil and ink projects.
Thanks for asking!
Hope you like working with them too

I like this one ester. What inspired you to do this one? Your reference?
I like the gouache. I was thinking of getting some for a sketch kit. What brand do you use? Do you have to use seperate brushes than watercolors?
