this is a moleskine ripoff sketchbook …ssshhh don’t tell. It’s a piccadilly, size 7″x9.5″, with paper that mirrors the moleskine notebook (don’t get me wrong, i love moleskines very much, but got this book also). This is a willow charcoal sketch, and i ‘fixed’ it by spraying the page with aerosol can hair spray. It seems to work just as good for keeping the charcoal in place. thanks for asking!

Ok, this is cool. I do a lot of willow charcoal portraits do you use fixative in your sketchbook. what kind of sketchbook do you have?
