  We used to shop down there. It’s where all the produce from L.A. comes in and then goes out to the various stores. So there are mountains of veggies and fruits to choose from, all very fresh. There’s also the flower market where all the flowers are distributed to the various retailers, and of course, the garment district and also the jewelry district. It’s quite an adventure, although not a very nice neighborhood.

  I didn’t get into downtown much growing up, but I always enjoyed it when I did.
