This is an endemic Dinaride burdock.
Done by pencil and watercoulour on large sketchbook (btw. not appropriate for watercolour being a bit greasy) The real thing to the right, but after a couple of days…
I’ve got to get hold of some watercolor Moleskines as soon as I can!

I like the way you have depicted the glass. Its something I’ve tried rarely as I find it so difficult. I agree with you about the Molesine sketckbooks being too greasy for WColour. I now post everything in WColour sketcbooks unless I am working with pencil or ink when I use my old plain books.

I, on the other hand, will have to try the plain old Moly sketchbooks, because so far all I have painted in are the watercolor Molys. But since I do a lot of colored pencil work I would think the regular sketchbooks would be great for that.
This is a lovely plant study, and I agree with Bob that you did a really nice job on the glass.
