There’s nothing more rewarding than drawing people and everything from life (but especially people!!). It strenghtens your observational skills and your “eye” for the specialities life has to offer. Do this as often as you can. You also train your visual library!

Not sure drawing people is that rewarding to me, but I do go to the library in the winter to sketch the various people that come in. At least they sit still long enough for me to get a reasonably decent sketch. But I do agree that whatever you draw it strengthens your observational skills and makes you more aware of life and all the fascinating aspects of it. And have you ever noticed that when you draw anything there is no such thing as “ugly”. Everything is interesting and beautiful in its own way.
By the way your people are very well sketched, and so is the still life on the right side.

yes right, you see everything with the curious mind of a child.
Maybe i chose the wrong word (excuse my engrish). I meant helpful. It improves your drawing skills, cause if you can draw people properly, the other stuff becomes easier to learn.
Thanks!!
