This is a lovely little sketch. I do that too sometimes on a walk—just pick up things and bring them home to draw, especially when the weather is not nice enough to be sitting outdoors. My dog, who goes with me, is a marvel at finding bones in the woods, and the other day she dragged out a deer skull, got tired of carrying it and dropped it at my feet. I just have to draw that deer skull one of these days—such fine bones!
