Very nice loose watercolor. You did a great job on the glass. Not easy to paint something that transparent.

Daryl, don’t worry too much about control. Watercolor should look borderline “out of control” most of the time, I think, except if you want photographic realism or do the sort of botanical art which I do. Your picture looks very “painterly” with just the right amount of control for watercolor. Frankly, I tend to try and control watercolor too much in my paintings, and I’ve been trying to loosen up some, but after all the botanical art it’s difficult for me to do. So keep on doing what you’re doing because you are on the right track.
