The edge of Beecraigs Loch, Beecraigs Country Park – Tinted charcoal on a Watercolour Moleskine.
This scene is meant to complement my other post describing Beecraigs. The idea, for using charcoal, came from my comments on my recent pencil sketch (June 21st – Calderwood Park) where I mentioned using charcoal. I remembered that I had a box of Derwent Tinted Charcoal Pencils (you would be amazed at the stuff I’ve collected over the years. I am not known as a squirrel for nothing!) I decided to give them a go. Anyone want a box of Derwent Tinted Charcoal Pencils? I won’t be needing them as I will be too busy cleaning my wee studio.

Nice, Squirrel Bob!
I’d take the pencil set, but shipping to US will cost more than they’re worth, so you better give them to someone local.

Wow, i love this.
I can’t beleive you’re giving them away. I sketch a lot, I’m only young, but i’ve been looking for cheap charcoal for ages. I’m from England, I wouldn’t know how much the postage would be
Again, i love your work, and the colours are captivating
