  I heard this story about the illustrator Guy Billout, http://www.guybillout.com/ . There was another fella –actually main other fellas, but one fella in particular–who started making a living doing images very much like Billout. They actually lived in the same area of Manhattan. One day they passed on the street and Billout asked the fella, “How am I doing?”
