A pass in the pine-trees forest to get to the sea side. Sardinian Island. Italia. Mediterranean sea. Watercolors.
OOOOOOH, this is one of the loveliest ones you’ve done yet, I think. Just GORGEOUS! I always have liked the idea of coming from shade into the light.
Wonderfully strong, vivd colours. Brightens anyones days up.
Wow, I like this one! I like your bold use of color. The sea looks perfectly dreamy.
Thanks a lot.
My goal was to keep transparency in the shadows and still giving the feeling of darkness. I’m happy with this sketch.
The more I look at this the more I love it! I’d like to know what the blue is that you used for that ocean, and what brand, because it’s almost jewel-like. I don’t think I’ve ever seen such a gorgeous blue.
very good. i love the path and the transperancy of the trees.
I like your color.
Roseindigo, the blue is “French ultramarine” from Daler-Rowney, N°123. I use it a lot for, especially for the shadows.
Thanks. I will have to try it. I’m always looking for the “perfect” pigment for my flowers, and blue is one of those difficult ones. This one looks like it might fit.
