This one was a mistake because I should have left the background mountains alone instead of outlining them. But I guess that’s what sketchbooks are for—to make lots of mistakes. One of these days I will re-do this and see what happens without the background outlines. I think I’ll like it much better.

Acutally if you had not mentioned it probably would have gone unnoticed. It give the painting a stained glass look.
