Gonna post more while the posting is good. Here is Mount Lassen with a lot of snow on it. The last time it blew was in the early 1900 and it is still active, with interesting boiling mud pots and steam vents all around.

Thanks both of you. This scene always takes my breath away when I travel on this particular highway. You come over the hill and there is the mountain like magic in front of you. Funny thing is, by the end of October and before the first snow falls again it just looks like a gigantic rock. It’s the snow that makes it beautiful.
