Susan, this is great with the eye being led into the “tunnel” where there is light at its end. Your painting looked very familiar and I realised that it seemed similar to one by David Bellamy, except he paints an arch eroded by the sea. I was going to put a copy on flickr but am unsure about copyright so other means must be found. I would not wish you to buy this book as it would cost about $35. Maybe a local library could help? His painting is “Rock Arch, Bullslaughter Bay” from “David Bellamy’s Coastal Landscapes – published by Collins ISBN 0 00 712176 8
Hey Moleskiners, check out this comp at NoteMaker! We’re an Australian store so any Aussies out there who want their own cover of a Moleskine made up, check it out!

Thanks, roseindigo and Nick. The sun was very bright so the shadows were an intense contrast on this day.
