Spooks. The skeletons in this cartoon are awesome! Fun yet creepy. This is the last drawing of the sketchbook! I’ve really seen some progress made in my drawings from the beginning to the end. I used to be so intimidated by sketchbooks and the need to have every drawing be as perfect as the book that held them. I would just doodle on bond paper. Being able to look back at how I drew then to now is definitely an inspiration to keep moving forward. Bored yet? Thanks for reading. =)

I’ve thought these were really great. I’ve never been clear on whether these are orginal characters done by you or if I should recognize them. Obviously this is good practice regardless. I love them. I’m looking forward to seeing what you come up with next.

Oh, these are characters created by Ub Iwerks, the man who created and animated many of the early black & white Mickey Mouse cartoons before venturing off to start his own studio.
This is Flip the Frog. Obviously, not nearly as popular as Mickey, but in my opinion, a helluva lot more fun. So, no you probably wouldn’t have recognized him. I never heard of him before, myself, until I had purchased the laserdisc many years ago. Thanks for the kind words. My new sketchbook is staring at me mockingly, challenging me to deface it with my 4B Tombow.
