saw alot of trees in maine… no moose though
BEAUTIFUL trees. Moose not required.
i had moose hanging out in my yard all winter. i was promised to see even more in maine… i didn’t, but the deciduous forest were great to see again!
Nice trees Joseph. MOOSE must be LOOSE among the SPRUCE
Bet Maine is absolutely breathtaking in the fall with all those deciduous trees!
And Bob is a poet and doesn’t know it—-or does he?
Sorry, roseindigo. I cannot take the credit for the rhyme. Its borrowed from the 1958 hit “Hoots Mon! There’s a moose, loose aboot this hoose” by Lord Rockingham’s XI. Hoots mon is a traditional Scottish cry to draw attention to something. Rumour has it when the astronauts in Apollo 13 announced, “Houston – we’ve got a problem” they were actually saying, “Hoots Mon – we’ve got a problem”.
